[Masaomi actually was staying the the hotel that night but... the lights. Really, the lights on out here, bright enough that night looks a little like day has reminded him of "home" - Ikebukuro, that is. The city is something that he can't even begin to simulate in Luceti's little village, so to have something which stands out like this, it makes him smile, nostalgic despite all of his mixed feelings about the gang-infested place itself.

It's with this sort of mentality that he takes note oh, he's not alone. He's a bit disappointed the guy lurking over there isn't a chick, but all the same]
