[Unfortunately, she's not that sort of creature right now and so she can't tell that the headless boy wandering around the village is Masaomi. Even if he did have a head! Which... he doesn't. Which makes him the most disturbing thing she's seen so far with her new eyes. So she's just... going to stare from a distance.]

Masaomi jumps literally two feet backwards in one leap and adopts a more defensive posture. He would have yelped if he had a mouth, and he wants to slam his eyes shut but... he doesn't have eyes? How does he even do that? As it stands, he just turns his whole upper body to not look at her face]
