It's a pretty bad gash on my side. [With a slight wince. Pretty bad is a bit of an understatement. Smart bandaging is probably what has prevented him from passing out from le blood loss thus far. It's a deep wound. It doesn't feel like it nicked any organs or anything though]

[ Honesty is a good policy, especially in cases like these. Aether merely narrows his eyes as he's listening in to the conversation, making sure that the wound isn't dismissed as "nothing special".

He's heard that one a few more times than necessary by now. ]

I bandaged it already, which has helped but ah... maybe an hour or so ago? [Before he met Aether and they finished up that scuffle. Back with... Cheyenne. Yes. It's hard to tell how long ago that was, it feels much longer because he was so scared at the time]
