The mainboard of my former computer was roasted two weekends ago in a big flash. I had to replace the machine which took a while because all they offer today are 64 bit systems and all the software I have is 32 bit. This way, "progress" is forced upon consumers. I guess I will convert to Linux sooner than expected. This way, I will not have to replace my hardware for every mainbord having gone bust. Windows may be easy to use, but the tendency of Microsoft to design different controls and looks for each new version is an annoyance.
But what really sucks is that the purchase of the new machine ate up my music budget for I don't know how long.
