Fear me for i am... COUNCIL MAN!
Work today was quite fun, well you'd of thought litter picking was boring... but when you are bombing along at 20 odd miles an hour (or however fast the crazy buggy goes) its nice. No walking and all that stress, and they play a sort of polo of it sweeping by picking up the litter. Had to do some vacuuming and general cleaning too, but nothing too bad.
Tomorrow i dead head the roses, fear me! I do da gardening! So besides the 2 hours of litter picking its a nice little job. Lots of tea breaks, and lots of time to rest. Not huge amounts to do atm. Guy's at work seem friendly, some of them a little mad! Most of them go round cutting grass (you have to say it in dat northern accent for proper effect) for the council. Apparently the tips aren't bad too (well silly people leaving money), not found any yet! but fingers crossed... well tell a lie, i found about 4p, and i ain't about to scab that!
So all in all, i'm so far a happy bunny with my job!... well until the blooming summer holiday comes.
