It's easy enough to deflect something like that. Using alchemy, the snap of his fingers extracts all oxygen from the air in front of him, killing the fire instantly.

"You'll have to try harder than that, Jr."

Despite his rather menacing tone, there's an easy smile on his face.

"Alright, then try this on for size!" His Ethers were just as easy to use as his fire powers, so a flick of his wrist sent a beam of white energy flying straight for Roy.

Hearing Jr.'s words didn't really phase him, but white light was different. Trying to jump aside in the sand was no easy feat, and he was glad to make it out of the line of fire, both hands moving once he'd steadied himself, crossing over in front of his chest before clicking as he moved in a wide arc, sending a wall of fire back at Jr.

This time, he didn't bother trying to get out of the way. Instead, he turned back a bit more and threw a large sphere of fire to meet up with Roy' wall.

Seeing Jr's response to that pulled his face into a pout, and after taking a deep breath; composing himself he shot back a few singular balls of fire, one particularly large one just behind Jr.
