The morning briefing had been contentious. Bronze Squadron's recon mission to Hoth found nothing, not one sign of a secret Imperial conference. Admiral Ackbar stood by the earlier intelligence, saying that a secret meeting would of course leave no trail, have no Star Destroyer in orbit. Other admirals and captains were far less certain, calling the planned raid a waste of time. And General Calrissian? He threw his support behind Ackbar, but withheld his own doubts. Ackbar agreed to push back the raid a day, to reassess teh data, but Lando knew the raid was still on.
