updating, cause I should

So, to follow up on my previous blog, my car also now has what look like cigarette burns on the hood. Yeah, it looks like people have been extinguishing their butts on my hood. So I went to the parking office and got a new spot, AND I made a formal police report, cause the one officer never got back to me when I called the first time. The first thing this officer asked was if I had any enemies. I just moved down here, how would I have enemies already?

But moving on. Work has been going pretty well. Right now I'm doing some reprogramming because we're gearing up for a big install in New Windsor. So I may be up for a couple days, but I'm not sure which week yet. Friday we had a company picnic out in New Rochelle, for which James took the day off and joined me. It was thundering about the entire time we were out there, but didn't rain, it circled around us, which was neat. The day felt, as Mike put it, like field day. There were games and relay races, which James and I were begrudgingly dragged into, and ended up winning. Yay for egg spoon relays! We had our fill of cookies and delicious grilled meat. There was a faux castle there and some really cute gazebos and stuff. And while we were there, a wedding party of at least 20 people showed up to take pictures. The older brother of the groom was totally trashed and came over to talk to us, and drink our beer. By the time the party left, we found out that he is a narcotics officer in NYC (he was asking us if we had any crack, and that he'd let it slide today, but tomorrow, watchout!). Yeah. People are entertaining.

What else to say. James and my hunt for wedding stuff is still underway. We're trying to get an idea of how much things will be, so that we can save accordingly. So we've been looking up photographers and DJ's (even though we just wanted to plug in our ipods and play our own playlist). Wedding stuff is really expensive. I hate it! How can you really justify spending $4k on a photographer for 4 hours? Seriously, $1,000 an hour. And some of them don't even let you own your own pictures! It gets me in a tizzy.

The weather here is starting to cool down, and I can't wait to see the leaves change here.

Yeah. idk what else to say. So, later.
