My Very First Theatrical Debut!
wow, 5 in the evening and i just woke up.
so i had my very first theatrical debut with one of my films, actually my first film. the event was "all freakin night". down in Olympia at the Capitol theatre. starting at midnight they showed 5 horror movies, with little events and games cut in between movies. also they would show some short movies done by various people. mine was one of them. it was pretty cool seeing my film as well as my name up there. and this was like a real theatre, real event and like hundreds of strangers watching it. so it was cool. people seemed to like it. and also out of all the shorts, i think mine was the only actual "film", shot on 8mm film.. the rest was all weird video stuff. so again, cool.
but also it would have been way cooler, if people would SHUT THE GODAMN FUCK UP. i swear there was not one moment of silence during the whole time i was there. through every single movie, some one shouting some stupid thing, trying to be godamn funny, and not only that there was just that overall drone of a bunch of people talking, just throughtout hte films. like these people paid money to sit in on MOVIES, jsut to fucking TALK. like it was their godamn plan to do so. what the fuck. do they not realize theyre being dumbfucks. that was the problem, in years before one of the guys who would put the show on, would actually respond to the retards shouting, and make them feel stupid, or he would tell them to shut the fuck up, or tell them how lame they were, or even just throw them out. unfortunately he was not part of it this year. it was a new feat for two new guys. but it was understandable, since htey had a lot of other shit to deal with. and i know for that kind of event there is a certain degree of audience involvment that should go into it. but not in the middle of a fucking movie, and not random stupid bullshit, still enduring by the fourth godamn movie.
so yea, if you and your dumbfuck friends like to go to these places preferably drunk or high, and cant control yourself, or you know youre going to leave early because youd rather be doing some other stupid bullshit, STAY THE FUCK OUT.
