This week, AI's theme is all about the 80s.
Maybe because I was born in that decade (ok, i'm dating myself here), or maybe because the song choices were better. But, for whatever reason, I liked the songs the boys performed last night.
And, I have to say this, Luke Menard is DEFINITELY going home.
I've been right about Robbie Carrico and Jason Yeager before. And I've said that Luke Menard will go home right at the very beginning. After last night, I think he'll get the boot.
The other guy leaving would have to be... Chikezie. He can sing, but he lacks the charisma that the other contestants have.
Like David Archuleta who, despite the less than spectacular performance last night, still got the audience cheering for him because of his natural charm. And, Jason Castro, gosh, he's so cute! Hehe
I loved the song, and it fit him perfectly. Plus he did a good job even without his guitar, so that's plus points for him. I also loved David Cook's performance. He turned a very cheesy song into something his own. As Randy put it, it was a slightly emo-version of a Lionel Richie classic. It was great!
Jason Hernandez turned a Celine Dion sapfest into a showcase of his vocal range. Michael Johns' performance of "The Breakfast Club" theme was different, but still good. It reminded me of our HS cheering competition coz "Don't you forget about me" was one of our cheers, hehe .And Danny Noriega. I really like him coz he's not afraid to be himself. I love the attitude! Gay or not (but most probably the former), he's still got a good voice. He just needs to be more confident in belting it out when needed.
So, it's the girls' turn tonight. I hope they pick good songs coz I'm liking the boys more than the girls at this point.
On another note, did you see those racy pics of Ramiele?
And, Jason Hernandez a stripper? Well, both of them are really good, so I don't think it should matter.
