I am cleaning out the garage. I have never gotten round to restoring or refurbishing the old computers I have accumulated.
I suggest that a certain type of computer enthusiast might like to rake over the pile to recover odd items or parts, prior to me getting rid of the lot. A lot of the stuff is severely out of date, some nearly 20 years old. I am posting on the off chance.
Some SCSI cards and disks, SCSI cables of several types.
SCSI scanners,
EISA motherboards for servers (early nineties 486 and dual Pentium100.
EISA cards for video, RAID, networking.
ISA cards and stuff.
Some old software (NT). (and DOS stuff as well)
OLD CPU's, Old Ram, old MFM fullheight hard disks, keyboards, mouses, CRT's
4x HP laserjet series 4 laser printers. 3 of these actually go but they need servicing and new toner cartridges.
2x Canon LBP IV laser printers (plus one wreck). mechanically the same as the HP's above, use same cartridge etc.
Box of 10 old cartridges for printers above. All are aged and print grey, need refurb.
other misc toner cartridges still in boxes.
Cases, tover cases and power supplies for the older motherboards.
1x Mac PowerPC, 1x wreck of same, monitor and software, KB and Mouse too.
There is other stuff. some more modern celeron systems too which might be useful to someone (anchor perhaps) in whole or in part.
Older stuff is free. Nearly current, make an offer, or just convince me to hand it over.
Some items may be fit to ebay etc, but I just want to be rid if most of it. If I have to sort, test, catalogue and list every item it would not be worth it.
If you are interested in salvaging something from the pile, call me on 0409774746 and we can tee up a time/day.
Cheers
Az.
