Unfortunately it is.

But no, even if Edensphere can mess with us like that, there's still no point in letting our guard down. [pause.] Even if you have to start the day with a sticky situation like that.

When the situation starts out bad, we are required to adapt and make the best of it.

That's what I've always thought. You can always find--or make--good out of a situation, even if it's only something small.

Nope!

Scavenging is fine, the job gives me a chance to find something that might be helpful in the future... even though most of the items are broken.

They might be broken, but they can always be fixed up! Most of the stuff we have at the weapons stall started in the Scrapyard.

Really? Who fixes them up?

Well, we fix our weapons. And there are a lot of tinkers and such on Stuff Inc who are good at putting things back together--or making completely new contraptions out of them.

I'll keep that in mind.

[He pauses for a moment]

The gun that I purchased from your store works well, I don't have any complaints.

I'm glad to hear it! [pause] Have you had to use it against the trash golems yet?

Yes, I encountered them a few times now.

Then I'm definitely glad the gun worked against them.

The only downside is that I need to buy more ammunition.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I prefer spears and swords.

Do you frequently train with them?
