looking for boy clothes, offering girl clothes

Apr 06, 2007 03:05

Hi everyone. Someone on the genderqueer community just told me about this one and I figured I would give it a shot. I have a few articles of pants and shorts in small juniors/womens sizes. Pretty small...0 to 2. A few Old Navy things, one from Delias, brands like that. If it sounds like your cup o' tea I can provide photos via email or comments.

Meanwhile, I am LOOKING for boys pants and shorts in around a 14 or 16 and my favorite brands are things from Pacific Sunwear (Billabong, Quiksilver, etc), Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle, stuff like that. Is anyone interested in trading or in some of my things? I'm kinda stuck because the sizes are so little. I was actually thinking of looking for mothers on craigslist who might have, say, a rapidly growing 16-year old boy and a rapidly growing 11-year old girl, and maybe they'd be up for a trade! I'm trying to be thrifty yet stylish!

Thank you in advance. Here is a more specific list of some of my things, just to get an idea.

1 pair of Delias brand stretch cords in burgundy, cut off to mid-shin capri length, size 1/2. They're nice because the rise is a little higher than most pants these days, since they are a few years old.

1 pair of striped linen-type material shorts. Light green and yellow stripes. They are size 2. I got them at filene's , I forget the brand. They are cuffed and fit sort of loose around the leg. Unfortunately too loose around the waist for me and now look ridiculous.

1 pair of H&M girls size 14 capris, light khaki color with a little pink tie belt and a sort of pattern stitched into the knees.

1 pair of burgundy Zinc gaucho shorts. Size 0. I guess they're more like capris, but the legs are kinda wide.

1 pair of DKNY "Times Square Flare" jeans, size 0, dark wash stretch, thin fabric. The rise comes up higher in the back which is nice if you have no ass like me. I hardly ever wore these, I just don't find them that comfortable...not really my style. They're really nice jeans.

Let me know if you want to trade something.
