Greetings all.
I've been doing some work on this community lately - there's a new layout, a community userpic, all the posts are tagged - and a couple of things have come to my attention so I want to clarify a few points.
Most importantly, this is a trading community for Trans folk. The idea was to swap gendered items we no longer required for those we wanted, as well as other Trans related items, such as books, videos/dvds and the like. If you want to charge shipping, that's fine; the point was to help each other, especially as buying new clothes, etc is expensive. It's not supposed to be a selling community, neither is it meant to be for non-Trans related items. If you have any queries or a special circumstance (such as selling off things to fund surgery), you can e-mail me at ganimede @ livejournal.com. Also, it's not a place to pimp other communities, there are plenty of other places for that.
This is an international community, so can you please mention your location in your posts as not everyone here is from the US.
Also, if your item(s) have been claimed, can you edit your post to say so. That helps everyone and stops you getting comments weeks down the line asking if your item is still available.
As I've said, I've tagged all of the posts that have been made so far, so please feel free to utilise the tags that I've set up on your future posts.
