David Allen, of Getting Things Done fame, suggests that any task that has more than 1 step is a "project". Therefore:
Project: Gardening
- cut back sunflower
- cut back salvia (there's more to do, but then, there always is)
- feed lemon tree(s) [ETA: Oops! Didn't do this, but it was still a good day.]
Project: Jayne Hat
- divide up yarn into 3 parts of 1 half-skein each
- look at colors (online, in dvd) more
- soak yarn prepatory to dying it
- (I guess that means I dye it today?)
Project: Knitting
- Re-graft toe of sock
- Graft hole in Bean's hat
- Start 2nd sock
- re-start the Zoe (heavily modified by now and actually I'll be crossing it with the 22.5) shawlette [ETA: Started this Monday morning.]
I jotted all that ^^ down last night, and then I wrote up how I would start my morning:
- Get dressed
- Go outside and cut sunflower back
- Eat breakfast
- Feed cats their breakfast
- Shower
- Pick one: regraft toe OR divide up yarn for dying
I've done 1-5. Now it's time to pick, and I think I'm going with divvying up the yarn....
and it's not even 10am!!!!
