Throwing away containers (I)
The recycling guides kept saying I could stuff paper recycling into old cereal boxes. I kept flattening them to put *in* the recycling with the paper. One day when I was low on brown paper bags I gave that some thought and tried stuffing in all the paper, magazines, newsprint ad things that come in the mail.... it was shocking how much one cereal box could hold.
Now I save the boxes unflattened, and stuff them full on Wednesday evenings for trash/recycling pick up on Thursday mornings.
