I have deleted my profile from gardargirls due the addictive and pathetic need to check it and chat to strange girls at least once a day. I then proceeded to delete my Pink sofa one as well and couldn’t figure it out

I had the same problem with Gaydar. I developed this compulsion to constantly check the profile and message strangers, even though I never got anything worthwhile out of it. I don't know what the girl's site is like, but the guy's one is basically a meat market. I couldn't figure out why I was constantly checking the thing, so I concluded it wasn't something I wanted in my life and got rid of it.

I did chat to some peoples which was cool but really i think i am a up close and personal kind of gal

who are you really talking to if you have never met? There are already plenty of people i have actually met and friends with that i could be spending my spare time catching up with rather than aimlessly chatting to a stranger until you run out things in common and have no desire to take it further

I think the other thing that deterred me from it was when you'd see a friend's profile and find out far more than you ever needed to know about their sex life. :S
