Nicknames
Usually after working with people for a while, I come up with nicknames by which i can refer to them outside of work settings with people who don't know them. Technically I've only been employed at this particular place for a few months, but I think I've definitely gotten to know them.
King Pin: the manager, because he legitimately looks like King Pin (big and bald), and he's a Marvel buff.
Kyle: the assistant manager, because his name is actually Kyle and he seriously looks like Kyle Rayner (until he cut his hair), and loves to doodle. Now, if only he were as nice, then maybe I could actually tolerate him beyond smiling and nodding.
Penny: the other assistant manager, because she looks, sounds and acts just like Penny from The Big Bang Theory - a pretty blonde girl surrounded by nerds. Really, she's absolutely adorable.
Guy: because everything he says pisses me off, and if you were to stick him in Guy's lantern costume, it would be uncanny, minus the small detail that he's a good 5 inches shorter than the real Guy Gardner. no, shut up, i am not flirting with him.
Claire: the resident, dumb (only) high school cheerleader. I have nothing else to say.
Arm: because his initials spell arm, and he's a big otaku. He's a little scary looking, but like Armstrong from FMA, he's actually a really sweet guy. And no, he doesn't have a little blonde curl.
Tex: he calls himself Tex, that's his nickname for himself, and he's a HUGE guy who likes to punch me. I'm sure underneath all that there's a legitimately nice guy, but I don't think I'd like to stick around and find out.

Jailbait: because he was the tallest, cutest redhead, and I had a crush on him until he left for college. hence, jailbait.
