I'm wibbling right now. You made Puck so sweet and vulnerable, but still so completely Puck. Of course he would mess things up just because he thinks it would happen eventually. Or course he would spend all of his time thinking about how he deserved it and how things will never get back to good. And Fiona was great - I usually hate genderswap fics because I hate seeing a good character that I like turned into a simpering damsel - I loved that she punched Puck when he told her, I loved that she was still full of puppy energy and low self-esteem. You done good.

Thanks and so absolutely relieved that Puck worked as this is the first time I've ever really tried to get into his head (so, clearly said first attempt just had to be a huge angsty genderswap epic, right?)

Thrilled Fiona seemed in character as I was really trying to keep her very Finn-like despite the gender switch. And I had to have her punch him. Seriously, the character demanded it.

I'm trying to do a Fiona fic too (for that prompt on the Winn meme) and I'm getting nowhere because I keep over-thinking it. Your girl-Finn is just very natural and there's so much Finn there, but a few traits that come across as more feminine. Like the low self-esteem, and the blossoming in glee.

Oh my god, I'm super excited that you're attempting the Fiona prompt because in case it wasn't completely obvious, it's mine and I'm dying for someone to fill it.
