So far this break I have...
- eaten ridiculous amounts of homemade food
- seen an adorable movie (Enchanted!) with one of my dearest friends
- gotten oodles of sleep in my comfycomfycomfy bed
- satisfied my poetry craving with e.e. cummings & crazy amounts of haiku
- played my beloved piano
- spent a lot of quality time with both of my parents
- realized for the zillionth time how amazing the people&things in my life are & how lucky I am to have them
...not bad for three days, eh?
Some days, we forget to look around us
Some days, we can't see the joy that surrounds us
So caught up inside ourselves
We take when we should give
So for tonight we pray for
What we know can be
And on this day we hope for
What we still can't see
It's up to us to be the change
And even though we all can still do more
