I saw We Are Marshall today and cried through a substantial portion of it. I am such a sucker for sports movies! Never mind the cliches, silly directing gimmicks, and historical anachronisms - I will always tear up and root for the underdogs.
In other news: I can't wait to move in with Marlie. *squeals with joy* I went shopping with my dad today and every ten feet I spotted something that I wanted to buy for the marvelous Chapin 207. I managed to retain some self-control and only let myself buy one thing - a really pretty matted print of a flower that says "Remember four simple words: LIVE. LOVE. LAUGH. BLOOM." A lovely lil philosophy, I thought.
Not much else is new. It's odd to be home with no immediate return-to-Beloit date in sight, but it's still beyond fabulous to be back in the 'brook. My own bed, my own shower, good food, no homework...bliss! Hopefully I'll get some writing done soon. I haven't devoted substantial time to writing for pleasure in far too long.
