I know there's a few people on my LJ friend's list who have the same problem I do - scented fabric softeners/degergents sometimes make breathing... tricky. Well, Bounce has some fabric sheets with "Fresh Linen" scent that not only work nicely as fabric softener, but also have the advantage of not making my lunges clamp down like a vicegrip on a workbench. Your Mileage May Vary, of course, but I've used this for a few weeks without many problems.

And now I go back to chore-hell.
