You guys, I have a podfic!
I had a ton of fun writing my Baccano! fic for this year's Yuletide, a ridiculous concoction of Coney Island hijinks with the longest title I've ever written: Some of Jacuzzi Splot's Acquaintances Are More Reluctant To Intrude On A Friendly Outing Than Others. I was startled and delighted to get a request to podfic it. Of course I said sure!
Well, I have now listened to the finished product, and let me tell you guys, it fills me with JOY AND HILARITY AND GLEE. This is a marvelous job -- the Isaac and Miria voices are particularly spot-on, and Becca can attest that I pretty much exploded in handflapping paroxysms of silent glee when I hit the first section with them -- but the entirety is delightful. :D! I salute these people like anything. Go have a listen!
(If by chance you don't know Baccano! but are curious anyway: I think this is relatively accessible for the uninitiated. You won't understand all the backstory dynamics, and it's post-canon so there are a few spoilers, although I think the biggest is one you won't have enough context to really notice strongly.)
