Yuletide reveal time!
And now, for something less ridiculous than my previous post (NOT HARD), the Yuletide reveal!
I wrote Some Of Jacuzzi Splot's Acquaintances Are More Reluctant To Intrude On A Friendly Outing Than Others, a slightly manic Baccano! fic after which I think I'm not allowed to say that I can't write dialogue and plot any more. It was enormous fun to write!
I also wrote Some Find Solace based on Dave Carter's song "The Mountain," which means it's basically original fic. I think of these two fics as equally my Yuletide ones, even though this one was really a treat, because I started pondering it way back at the beginning when I saw the prompt in a Yuletide letter and it refused to let go of my brain. I was very pleased with the result.
For Yuletide Madness, because I didn't quite get it done before the treats deadline, I wrote Chosen, a dark take on Valdemar. It was tons of fun; I stompled all over my preteen years for this fic, and then went and reread the Last Herald-Mage series in a fit of nostalgia.
