What do you mean, "be sensible"?
So yesterday, bookelfe said to me, "Gen, be a good and helpful influence! I am sorely tempted to try to organize a ficathon along the lines of atla_ladyfest for Fullmetal Alchemist! Remind me that this is an awful awful idea!"
bookelfe is very silly, because of course I immediately said "DO IT DO IT I'LL HELP!!" I don't know why she might have expected anything else.
This is, accordingly, a question for the masses! If Becca and I were to organize a Fullmetal Alchemist ladyfest, would you be interested in it? This would be a fic-and/or-fanart exchange focusing on the many awesome ladies of FMA, major and minor characters both, for August/September/maybe into early October. You can check out the marvelous atla_ladyfest for a good idea of the general kind of thing it would be, since we're borrowing (with meredyd's permission) a lot of the structure of that. (I also recommend it if you're just in the mood for cool Avatar fic and art, of course.)
