(no subject)
It occurs to me (or, rather, it periodically occurs to me, usually when I am far from a computer or busy or about to go to bed) that I have not yet made a general post announcing that I will be in Chicago soon, and when.
So. Thursday, July 19: Fly out of Boston 6:55 a.m., arrive at Chicago Midway at 8:30 a.m.
Sunday, July 22: Fly out of Chicago Midway 6:30 p.m., arrive back at Boston 9:40 p.m.
This is for Millicon -- that's a milliways_bar gathering, pretty much the equivalent of a Gerald for you Brunchers out there -- so a lot of my time will be tied up in that. But I still fully intend to make time to hang out with the rest of you at least once!
Sandry's going with me, though to visit people rather than to Millicon; we're flying out together, and she's coming back a day later. She's proposed a group dinner sometime, with whatever group has free time and seems likely to get along and not take up an entire restaurant plus half the street, and I am all in favor of this.
Pursuant to this, by the way. On Saturday, I will be heading into Harvard Square to get some Tealuxe tea for myself, as I am nearly out of Lady Londonderry and this is a tragedy. I know at least some of you would like me to bring Tealuxe commodities to Chicago with me. I know Aspen wants a surprise, and Sweeney wants Lady Londonderry and something herbal, the specifics and quantities of which she will presumably inform me of; anybody else craving anything from there?
