Happy Guy Fawkes Day, everyone -- and happy birthday, bookelfe and cupennyI kind of wish we celebrated Bonfire Night over on this side of the pond; I'm a little wary of the hijinks that would ensue, but I am enough of a pyro to be all in favor of a holiday celebrated by burning things. See, this is when y'all need to come out here- we can go to the beach and build a bonfire- legally, too!

And I'm not letting any cultural differences tell me I can't celebrate a holiday just because I'm not british. :)

Heee! I'm with you - let's have more explody burny holidays over here. Though I somehow think if they won't let us really explode things on July 4th, they wouldn't be in to another, much more dangerous and destructive holiday. Dammit.

Speaking of Dark Tower, did I tell you what road my new apartment is on? 19/9. Yeah, I couldn't make that up if I tried.

Yeah. *sulks* And there's the whole history of it as well, which I am rather ambivalent about -- burning things, yay! Burning effigies of Guy Fawkes, marginally less yay.

The solution, clearly, is to have more bonfires year-round!

...And no, you didn't tell me about your new address. Ahahahaha. Oh dear.

I agree with more bonfires. Though, for history's sake, we should have at least on made of politicians per november.
