I'm surprised at how few OMG LJ IS BACK YAY posts I've seen on my friendslist so far. Possibly I just haven't scrolled down far enough yet.
In LJ's absence, I got bored enough to try to figure out how to do text on icons with Photoshop. (I have recently acquired Photoshop thanks to sandrylene's lovely and generous lending of her spare computer. I am veeeerrrry slowly figuring out what the heck these 15678646468 buttons do, via the method of futzing ineptly around at irregular intervals until I get bored and give up.)
Text, however, proves to be surprisingly easy to manage, and taught me some more about layer effects in the process. I'm pleased! And thus, because I've been wanting a Wheel of Time icon or two anyway, GIP.
And now, off to check on the quiche, and continue to ignore the sinkful of dishes.
