Serenity! (spoilers)
I finally saw Serenity last night. Wowza!
Oh, how I love Joss!
River kicks ass! Jayne is, well, Jayne! Simon and Kaylee! *smooches* Mal and Inara UST!
Plenty of snappy Joss dialogue and an excellent story! Lots of exclamation points, but I was really pleased by this movie and thrilled for Joss. Though I am of two minds about his introduction in the bonus features...bitter much?
And they were all so pretty! Love what they can do in hair and makeup with a bigger budget :-D

Not that I should be all that surprised, since he loves to kill off favorite characters.

I have the box set of Firefly on my Amazon wish list and I may have to move that ahead of SG-1 as my next purchase, along with Serenity.
I've also been on a little of a Christian Bale kick and watched Equilibrium and The Machinist. The former was pretty cool and I watched it a few times for the hotness of Christian. As for The Machinist? Just one word--freaky!! Seriously, the plot and story were excellent, but Christian's appearance in the thing totally screwed with my head the entire time. This is the movie that he lost an incredible amount of weight for--the script called for his character to be "a walking corpse" and dude, is that ever an accurate description!
Tonight its Run, Lola, Run. After watching a couple of Chinese movies this weekend, I seem to be on a foreign/independent film kick.
