Love Actually......
Of all my Xmas movies I love that one the most. I just watched it and it made me so happy and yet sad as well. The best moments of it are the ones in silence, the ones that move you with nothing more than the expressions on their faces. The bit where Emma Thompson gets the Joni Mitchell CD and goes into the bedroom. God, she makes me cry every time. Just the heartache but the knowledge she has to ignore it for the sake of her children. Gads. And then Andrew Lincoln and Kiera Knightly in the "Carol Singers" scene! Beautiful. And earlier, when she realizes he's in love with her from the video. Amazing. Oh well, I'm still in the middle of White Xmas and I might watch The Bishop's Wife once more before I head off to bed.
