Everything was in apple pie order for his Ascension. Ticking along nicely. The Slayer just a minor irritation.
He did like a nice plan and a good clean notebook with a big margin helped. Columns of lists, all numbered and sub headings underlined in different coloured inks.
He had every confidence in his girl, too, except - he frowned, then smoothed it away - frowns gave you wrinkles, smiles gave you joy. He made a neat note at the bottom of the page -
