I look forward to being an entrepreneur in the 21st century. The coming decades will see even greater change than what I have experienced in my relatively short lifetime. It is perfect for me, as I have long been passionate about business and computer technology. That is why I joined DECA, where I have focused on E-Commerce. I have been fortunate enough to qualify for the National Competition twice: last year, I finished in the top 18 in the country in my division out of approximately 12,000 competitors nationwide. This has helped me develop the confidence that I can and will be successful in whatever I choose to do.
College for me represents an opportunity to learn the principles of business and develop a solid foundation in computer technology so that I will be prepared to compete and succeed in the future. I literally cannot wait to get started.
