There is an anime series called Excel Saga which has the standard 'evil organization trying to take control of the city' plot. In an effort to spice things up, the anime producer is shown getting permission from the writer to presents the story using a different stock genre for each episode: war story, thriller, love story, sports story, etc. The experiment is almost always a failure so the episode ends with the line in this post's subject.
My online dating subscription has almost expired and this is how I feel about the experience. There's just something that I'm still not getting about the whole dating thing. Maybe I'm penalized being a sucker for honesty since I even answered the uncomfortable questions when asked. Some of the questions I asked of different matches never got a straight answer. I felt tempted to send a question along the lines of 'Tell me a white lie that will make me feel good about myself/us' because that's what it felt like my matches were looking for.
And oh boy I've been invited to a wedding how fun. :-p I'm not sure why I was invited other than to spend more time with Geek, Chypre, and Mudfairy that week. And what great company I'd be since weddings make me mopier than normal.
