Summary: Danny's travels in time and space take him to many wonderous places, but there is something missing.
Danny loved traveling with the Doctor.
But …..
On Eris9, looking out at a vast vermillion sea, he had turned to share with Steve how beautiful it was. Only Steve wasn’t there.
When the Tardis had landed on the Lusitania, a heartsick Danny had longed for his friend’s comforting presence upon learning it was a fixed point in time and they couldn’t save everyone.
Danny was jolted back to the present when the Doctor announced their arrival.
Opening the doors, Danny wondered where they had landed. What he saw made him smile. A single word falling from his lips
“Steve”
