I let my daughter keep our dog, Bandit's ashes too after we had to put him to sleep last summer. It was heart wrenching. She and Bandit literally grew up together. We got him when my daughter was 6 months old. And for a while there I even feared that she was going to grow up thinking that she was a dog not a human. LOL It's tough on us, but I think it's tougher on the kids. There is just no protecting our kids from this hurtful lesson of life. But I am glad to hear that things on your end are doing better and I am thrilled to hear that you may even start writing again this weekend. I'd love to read more of your writing! :D
I originally started this reply just to say your welcome, but it became a bit long winded...yes, I tend to do that a lot. LOL But if you need a friend to listen, I have been told once or twice that I do that pretty well. :D *Hugs* back, my friend.
