Gen Reviews Beyond: Two Souls (Spoilers)

My gaming marathon is over and we did really well, but I want to take a quick moment to discuss one of the primary games I played. I enjoyed it for the story, for the graphics, but honestly I want to punch the writer for the main character.

You should write that up and send it to the gaming company. Because that really is quite a turn off on a game, and I can imagine it is probably driving a lot of people crazy.

I see your point even though I does get better by the end. I still really enjoyed it for what it was despite its flaws. But that's me.

I can't help but wonder if it would have been a more amusing story if they had reversed the gender: wilting young male with a strong female ghost looking after him. ;) I've never even heard of the game so no big deal to me.

At first Ryan and I were like "Ok, we're kinda lampooning this game a lot, maybe we're being a bit too mean," but then it kept getting worse and worse and auuuugh! I'm glad you feel the same way.

It struck me as being written by someone who -thought- they had an idea how a strong female character should act but are actually blatantly misogynistic.
