I have been pretty MIA lately. Basically, my life has been filled with:

Research (two months and I still haven't got this thing to work!)
TA-ing (why can't my students read burets properly? Also, why does marking take so long?)
Class (Only one this term, but three the next... mince)
Dodgeball (Good times.)
Concerts (In no particular order: Phoenix, BSS ( Read more... )

i'm so jealous that you get to see bss! i tried to get tickets this year in toronto, but they sold out really quickly :( i love them sfm, though.

I'm lucky they played two shows here! I didn't realize tickets were actually available for a while....! The first show was already sold out when I got them.

they're playing two shows here too, and i STILL managed to miss out somehow. *sighs*

i hope i do get to see them one day, though ♥

I'll be in Vancouver for Christmas!!! We should meet up and you can give me my card in person and beat me at Carcassonne or something... hahaha.

Or you could try Settlers of Catan! It has resurfaced! :D

Funny you should mention it! We were staying at a neighbors of the people who we were having Thanksgiving with, and they were all Polish, and they were playing Settlers of Catan! Both times we got back too late to join in, but I really want to try it now.
