Well on Propeller TV (channel 195 on Sky) we now have Anime Nation...woo hoo
Its a 2 hour block of anime every sunday for the next 3 months from 8pm tp 10pm. The shows that are gonna be shown are Coyote Ragtime Show, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Guyver and Elfen Lied.
The first showing was on Sunday 3rd June 2007.
Loved Coyote Ragtime Show...can't get better than space pirates and gothic lolita assassin droids in the first episode.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is a classic and if you've never watched it before....WTF...where have you been hiding...under a rock...fool.
Guyver...still not sure on that one. I'll have to wait til next week. I'll reserve judgement on that for now.
But wow...Elfen Lied was great...a naked girl killing people with the power of her mind...Nyu.
Apart from NGE the others are premiers on UK TV...so we have to support anime on tv by watching every week and hopefully more will be shown.
I remember the good old days when they showed anime on Sci-Fi Channel and CNX before it turned into crappy Toonami.
