"Memories, sharp as daggers
Pierce into the flesh of today
Suicide of love took away all that matters
And buried the remains in an unmarked grave in your heart"

The weeks passed by slowly for Charlie. She got an all clear from Mrs. Q, and had long since packed bags of clothing that she had deemed suitable for at least a day with Bam, let alone a week. It was now a day before the concert and Charlie was slightly nervous. Whatever Bam had cooked up this time, was probably going to be like the others. Dangerous, stupid, and probably was going to kill her. No matter though, she had her own tricks up her sleeve, and believed that she had led a good enough life so far. Charlie was currently dusting the top of a bookshelf, with her apron on, of course. She was wearing a pair of dark blue baggy jeans, her black leather belt with the filigree butterfly buckle, her pair of converse, and a 'Guns & Roses' shirt on as well. Her long, dark hair was pulled back into a clipped ponytail, those few rebellious strands hanging in her face. She wore the same jewelry, with the exception of her diamond studs. Charlie sighed as she dusted, the door tinkled, signaling a customer. Charlie took a remote out of a pocket on her apron and pointed it towards the boom box, that had until now, been playing H.I.M.'s 'Killing Loneliness'.

"Just a minute!" She called out.

The tour was going well, in Ville's opinion, and the flight away from Bam was peaceful. The tour bus had pulled them into the hotel at Burbank, CA, not too far away from L.A. Linde and Burton were hanging out at the hotel, and Mige and Gas were out for a drink. Ville was currently wearing a black jacket, pants, converse, and extremely dark sunglasses. He had managed, for the most part; stay inconspicuous, only getting asked for an autograph by a few fans. He'd been walking around when he came across a venue that peaked his interest. Upon walking on said street, a bookstore caught his eye, and just for shits and giggles, he went in. He opened the door to hear his voice singing back to him, to his song, 'Killing Loneliness'. Just as he was about to leave, for fear of a rabid, crazy fan-girl or boy, a young woman's voice called out, "Just a minute!"

The Music was shut off, and a few curses were heard as well as a rather loud 'thump'. Then the sound of what may have been several heavy books falling reached his ears. Ville winced and being the gentleman that he was, peeked around a few of the rows to try and locate the woman.

"Are you alright?"

There was a pause before he got and answer. "I'm fine, don't worry about it."

A woman in her late twenties came out from one of the rows and Vile caught his breath. She was tall, with long raven hair pulled back, probably with a clip, he thought. She had a few piercing and Ville noticed the heartagram charm ear cuff. She was tan, as was to be expected from a Californian resident, but not so brown as wheat bread and dear god, her eyes! They were the deepest blue that Ville had ever beheld. She was neither too skinny, or overweight, unlike he, with his anorexic like figure, or lack thereof. He could tell that she was of Asian decent, and obviously recognized him, after a few moments of recollection, which in turn, inflated his ego a little more. Above her green apron, was a nametag that proclaimed her 'Charlie'. What an unusual name, he thought.

"May I help you?"

Ville was secretly glad that this geisha didn't go rabid fan girl on him.

"Oh, I'm just browsing."

"Well, I'm Charlie. If you need anything, just call."

He nodded as she did an about-face and went back to her row, 'Ancient History: L-Z' .He heard the sound of C.D.'s being shuffled around and then the opening sounds of Apocalyptica come to him softly, the background music becoming sweet, despite the genre. Ville smiled softly at the subtle way of letting him listening to anything, but hi droning. He went to 'Horror: A-N" and peeked through two books, watching as Charlie worked, seemingly oblivious to the rock star in her workplace.
