Sometimes technology drives me crazy. Just recently my laptop decided not to pick up my home network. Nothing is wrong with my home network as others are able to connect to it, but the stupid internal wireless card in my laptop just decided to not pick up my signal. It show some other networks, but not mines. I tried turning off the wireless then turning it back on, but same. logged off and logged back on, same. stupid and futile I tried inserting the wireless USB that I use for my desktop connection to see if the drivers will automatically install (didn't wanna fish for the install disc) of course didn't work. I also noticed that when I try to refresh the wireless to show if there are other detected networks...it wouldn't refresh. Then I remember that the same thing happened with my old laptop once, and a restart fixed the problem, I restarted my PC. and yep that did the trick.

Really why does it do that sometimes. It doesn't happen often. Well with my old laptop it happened maybe 3 time in the 5yrs that I used it, and this is the first it's happened on this PC and I've had it for a few month. I mean why does it need a restart for it to pick up the signal again. Why not just turning off the wireless and turning it back on. GarRr...technology...>_>
