New Opportunities
J's starting a new job. It's all good: local, more money, doing excatly what he loves, great benes, etc. It's a start-up, and though it has a fantastically bright and lucrative future, he's a major player and component. It's great that he's one of the main guys and in at the beginning, etc.; it just means that the next few months will be tough as he puts in the hours.
The paychecks are always great, but we don't live for the paycheck. We live to be together. If it all works out, then we should be retiring more than comfortably by the time we'd planned to do so. I just hope he keeps his promise and lets me go to work.
