oh! ano... it's connect with my faith or my religion... not my country because in my country there's so many faith or religion too like others countries :D
every faith or religion in the world have their own celebration regarding their faith/religion ne.... like me who as a Moslem, i celebrate Idul Fitri or Eid Ul-Fitr, not celebrate Christmas... and a Christian, like the most of your family, celebrate Christmas so they don't celebrate Idul Fitri or Eid Ul-Fitr ne... and same with what happens to others faith or religion thought... aaahhhh, i think you understand what i mean ne hahahaaaaa ...
hahah yeah I know! I asked Country though because I have many friends who celecrate things that are specific to their country in line with the holidays.. I have no specific examples at the moment but yeah lol figured I'd ask :D

you know, it make me to think about what the things in my country which is celebrated together in line with the holidays...
usually holiday which is in line with the celebration are to give the opportunity/times & appreciate to those who are celebrating ^_^ but there is a holiday that is really related to the celebration in my country so that all citizens celebrate it, such as independence day holiday & new year holiday hahahaaaaaaa XXDDDD
... and i'm glad too that i understood what you're meaning ne :D somehow i'm happy too because although my mother language isn't english, but as long as i can speak english & surrounded with the people who have mother language of english at the work place, i can understand what you or they're meaning LOL
by the way, happy Chinese new year in-advance... 2 days later! i think you've already know about Chinese new year too ne heheeeeee ~ in my country, it'll become holiday too as appreciation for Chinese people or people here who have Chinese bloodline to celebrate it :D

Happy Chinese New Year! For that matter.. Akemashita Gozaimasu! Yes this year is the year of the dragon. Tiffany's year! I am a rooster ^__^ We have many Chinatowns in states all over the place and they hold so many different celebrations.. its always amazing to hear about them or see pictures! I've not been to one since I was a little girl, but I remember my grandpa buying me a little satin pajama set and slippers from a market in San Fransisco ^__^

Merry Christmas! I normally Celebrate Yule myself but my father and most of my other family celebrates Christmas so we partake of both :)
