Physiology

Okay, so tomorrow is my first big physiology test and I feel about 85% prepared for it. There are a couple areas that I'm cloudy on (and I plan to listen to the lecture again/read the book) but all in all, dude, I have action potentials and cell membrane potentials down. I have to go back over my notes for the first part of the class, about cellular respiration and such again, just to be sure, but yeah. I want to *ACE* this test so fucking much.

Which brings me to my thing. I'm supposed to see Panic at the Disco tonight. *sigh* I'm tired, I don't really want to go (I just saw them a few months ago) and honestly, not in the mood to deal with traffic and parking and shit. Seriously, I'm lame.

I want to stay home and go to bed early, instead, study some more tomorrow morning and then go kick that test's ass. SO MUCH WANT FOR THIS.

But I feel guilty not going. I spent like $45 on a balcony seat so I wouldn't be in the crowd and I really, really want to see Fun. but um, not enough I guess? The bandom-y antics just aren't cutting it anymore.

Today is father's day. We got my dad a grill and he made steak and veggies on it. The veggies were delicious and the steak was okay. There was also corn on the cob (which I didn't eat--too full from salad and veggies and steak).

Ohhh, plus we discovered an infestation of little bugs in the pantry, brought in on a cereal box or something. *sigh* That was fun to clean up.

My SLB posting date is Tuesday, which, yay! I can't wait to post it. I didn't end up telling a love story with it, but rather a coming out story and a family story, but I like it. It's--soft--I guess, is how I would describe it. I have a sequel planned but I'm not sure when I'm going to write it. I have a million and one things I'm planning on writing and I need to finish 2 Ducks in Love first (and okay, the title for that? Came from 2 Ducks and the Sea, which if you recognize, just--kudos to you!).

In my spending money column, I spent $1,000 yesterday, which is a lot of money and slightly scary to have spent it all. My car needed new tires and a tire alignment; I went to costco and impulse bought a 2 TB external harddrive (which, okay, I've been wanting for 2 years and it was $100 which is super cheap!) and then I had to kick money into the grill we bought my dad for father's day. So, yeah. Spent money. A lot of money. /O\.

I applied to become a tutor for my college and I'm pretty sure I'll get in, which is good. My bio teacher wrote me an AWESOME letter of recommendation and the people were excited that I could tutor bio 101, chem and (soon to be) physiology (because I'm going to fucking ACE that class). After the fall I can probably tutor micro and anatomy, too, which is good. :)

I need to line up some private tutoring clients. I have people in my classes asking me to tutor them, so I'll start working on that. *g* Just need to ace this test to get that all in line.

This is a lot of words. I'm going back to studying now.
