i made it
Hey everyone. I made it here alright--nothing crazy happened (besides sitting next to some guy who smelled like feet for the 4 hour flight to Cali x_x). All my luggage made it and I didn't get lost at all! w00t.
Katie's house is amazing. Her mom has SO many plants growing everywhere--roses, wisteria, mints, blackeyed susans, vines, morning glories... EVERYWHERE! it looks like some sort of amazing Elvish garden or eden or something. Except there's no elves. *sad*
We went to the beach yesterday. I got a tan/burn because I fell asleep. I still like the beaches in North Carolina better, though, because you can actually swim in the water. Here it is really cold. I'll put up pictures when I get back.
There are a lot of good-looking Asians here, though. I'll try not to die. *be strong, Jessica.*
Tomorrow I go to the zoo with Katie! I love the zoo!
