Just realised...
That I haven't updated in a while.
A couple of things happened since I last subjected you to my life. My brother displaced his retina. He was really lucky to keep his eyesight and even luckier that we happened to be going to the optician so soon after he did it. Otherwise he would have most certainly be partially sighted by now. Things like this make me more inclined to believe in fate and providence. Even if I know they are fairytale concepts its nice to have faith in something positive and comforting. It did look like we would have to cancel our holiday but now he seems to be getting on alright and we might be able to go.
Went out with Lex yesterday. Forgot how positive she is all the time. Just a couple of hours is enough to leave anyone feeling uplifted. She could talk for years just on her own but has a special knack to making you feel like you are contributing.
And I went to work today. That wasn't fun but somethings aren't. I need the money to spend on fun things.
So, my brother is home and things are looking up. I'm glad that I didn't write anything yesterday because...well just because. Its hard to explain and I don't even know why I'm writing this. I don't like having evidence of the bad times. Not even bad times. Just when I'm pissed off with something and I tend to get carried away....oh. I don't see the point. So yeah, the good times. Sun shining, just got off work. Its all going well. :-)
