Well, this has been a fun weekend... kinda. Yesterday Bri and I went to Baltimore for the usual Saturday night stuff - visited parents, did dinner for his Dad's birthday that was on Friday, then car club meeting. The rain sucked, by the way - visibility was shitty as anything - but um, by the time we got to the meeting, we had missed all the commotion.
Something under the hood of Danny's truck managed to catch on fire, and of course they couldn't find an extinguisher right away. Luckily they did notice it quick enough to get it put out before it blew anything up... thank god. Laura was freaked out though - she didn't want to get back in that thing after all that. It was just a wire, I think to the strobes, so Doug took care of it and he was able to drive it home as far as I know... But afterwards it was off to the Three Brothers italian food place in Glen Burnie - Laura said she was going to celebrate that Danny's truck didn't blow up :-)
Next week is gonna be kinda busy. Out all day Monday doing work and then school (and I get to register for next semester's classes!), then Tuesday I'm going down to the Annapolis area to get together with a bunch of people. And Thursday there's a whole bunch of places I gotta be - dunno how I'm going to do it all... and between all that I gotta find time to do some studying, ech. Which is what I should be off to do now :-) Ciao!
