Being around crazy people, makes you crazy.
I should know,
not only did I grow up with a bi-polar mom,
I then worked in mental health.

We've been renting from her (in an arrangement)
for 3 years, but talking about buying it for the last two.
She couldn't decide on a price, and said "yes"
many times and then turned it into "Yes, but"s and
then "No, but"s and then "No!" in a single conversation,
or sometimes over a few days.

Last night Mom delivered a
"90 day notice to buy or vacate the house"
via text,
to Sailor.

Um,.. ok?

I admit, I wanted to react exactly like her daughter,
rather than like a rational, sensible adult.
"What happened? What is she DOING? Why not text me?
Where was the warning? Why is she being cutthroat?"

Luckily, Sailor is the most rational,
sensible, and generous Pirate you will ever meet.

He IS Dread Pirate Wesley,
but with Dread Pirate Inigo's hair.

And his reaction is,
"Oh, look... she made a decision!
That's EXCELLENT! Good for her!"

Taking all the crazy wind
out of my crazy sails,
I say, "Yes. That IS good.
Thanks for not being upset by this, Love."

Sailor is actually and literally
perfect in every way.
