These are the shoes I wear to work.. the high soles are soft rubber and I dont think shoes get more padded than these;) hehe.

just cause the soles are thick doesn't mean they have the right support. But, eh. maybe god just hates you.

I highly recommend buying (or at least trying on) a pair of Volatile sneakers.. you'll see what I mean! :)

My pain is a combonation of alot of things, for the last 3 years Ive had a sedentary job, and only walked for maybe a half hour or hour per day, when I DID have a standing/walking job, there were many opportunities to kneel, sit, etc and I rarely worked over 6 hours a day... let alone 10 hrs a day, no breaks for three days straight.

Also, I have a vascular problem in my right leg which is a birth defect and gave me ALOT of pain growing up, but stopped when I stopped taking gym and stopped growing.

Also, my right knee has a nicked tendon from a accident 10 years ago, and since almost all my pain is located in my right ankle, knee, and hip.. it makes sense that that it is those old problems that are causing these new ones.

Owie.

Volatile shoes look pretty cool. Do any shops sell them, or do you have to buy online? Because my feet suck and it's hard to find shoes that fit.

Hot Topic, Journeys and Nordstrom all have carried the brand in the past... I bet Nordstrom would be the most flexible with ordering without obligation to buy,...
