HELL!
I hate the fact that its too hot to sleep... and YET, it feels funny to sleep totally naked with no covering... so Im still forced to sleep with a sheet at least. Am I more modest in my sleep than usual? Hmmm,...
Anyways. It probably got as low as 80 degrees last night before it shot up to 108 degrees today.
Well, at least, that was the temperature in Airway Heights and nearly that downtown.
It was so hot that even the A/C at work wasn't keeping me cool.
It was PAVEMENT MELTING HOT!!
As of 10pm, it was still 96 degrees. My apartment is a "cool" 90 degrees or so right now.
I've got my A/C on, my fan on high blowing the cold A/C air DIRECTLY ON ME and then spritzing myself with cold water from a spray bottle. AND I AM STILL HOT!!
*whine*
The movie theatre, however, was quite pleasant. Went with Sharon, Steve, Ben and Jesse to see "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" featuring my sexy comedic love Eddie Izzard, not to mention Rainn Wilson from "The Office"... that guy has TOO good of a knack playing creepo nerds not to actually BE one.

I liked this movie, although you are told that Professor Bedlam is an evil supervillain... but you dont actually get to see him do anything super-villain-y... which is sad.
Sharks are ALWAYS fun to watch try to kill people and/or fall out windows.
Egg rolls are delicious. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar, cheat and scoundrel of the lowest and most cowardly palette persuasion.
Tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter.
Monday is supposed to be as hot as today.

O,... work. I went to work. I worked 9 hours and got ONE 10 minute break. This shall not go on, especially being as how my 1/2 unpaid lunch is AUTOMATICALLY included in your timeclock and I DID NOT GET ONE.. and instead WORKED THROUGH IT! Not to mention another 20 minutes of paid break time! SUCK.
Work is nice when I have stuff to do.. and not feeling useless and in the way. But I've never been the fan of being busy and working hard all day. What can I say? Im lazy!
But I worked several transactions today and my till was only off by a nickle.. and being as how I handled a few hundred dollars of transactions (which I was VERY unsure how to do at all) Im alittle proud.
Someone came in today and bought a car amp for $100, and told me how their car stereo and speakers were in pawn, and he planned to spend $300 to get them out... and also told me how his car is currently not running. Hehe. Such things make me giggle.
I saw a cutout of Borat at the theatres. Im going to steal him.
On the subject of Eddie Izzard... one of the fans here on LJ made this wonderful icon.
My guess is it only makes sense if you've seen "Dress to Kill"....
And thats part of why I love it.
