I had a Mac-tacular Birthday!
Hi lovelies,
Well, I've only been into MAC for about 11 months, so yesterday was my first birthday since my MAC addiction started and I got tons of great stuff including two MAC-related cakes!!! My talented sister made me two beautiful custom cakes. I was so impressed with her work! Here's a preview:
Notice the MAC bag in the dolls hand and the eyeshadow pot cake :)
I love how she made the skirt look textured! She used purple lust dust to add sparkle :). She made the corset top out of fondant which she colored purple. Originally, the corset was cut straight across but her husband decided it need to show more cleavage and used an exacto to cut the neckline lower. He's too funny.
Jodie's only started decorating cakes in the past few months but she is great at it! And, they all taste amazing. This one was double chocolate with chocolate frosting. Mmmmmmmm....
So cool, it even had red shimmer in the purple frosting!
This one was dark chocolate cake. I'm a chocolaholic :).

And some MAC presents: Bueno Beige Lip Lacquer, Lychee Luxe Lipglass, Silver Dusk Iridescent Loose Powder, a Ligelee set with Lu-Be-Lu, Dewy Jube, Glosspitality, and Jellybabe mini lipgelees, and a pretty metallic brown MAC makeup bag. I also got $85 in MAC giftcards which I will be spending this weekend :). Woo hoo. My friends rock!
BTW - can I use MAC giftcards at MAC counters in department stores like Nordstrom's or do I have to go to the freestanding store?
